TFT Dash v2.1 (Feb 2021) - What's New

This TFT Dash software update contains the following changes:

• Navigation. This TFT Dash update includes the abililty to receive navigation steps and updates from a smartphone. A specific TFT Nav app is needed before this feature can be used. If you have an iPhone, search the app store for an app named 'TFT Nav' - this app when launched will search for the TFT Dash via Bluetooth and inform you of a successful connection. You'll then be able to enter a destination in the smartphone app - each step of the route will then be communicated to the TFT Dash from the smartphone app to the TFT Dash via Bluetooth. Each step of the navigation will appear on the TFT Dash with the distance remaining to the next navigation step, and a symbol indicating the step to be performed (e.g. Turn Left, Turn Right, Roundabout 1st Exit, 2nd Exit, etc..)'

• Ambient Light Bug fix. Previously when setting daytime and night themes, when the light level dropped to an amount that was close to switching threshold of the day / night theme the TFT Dash would often switch too often between both themes. This fix ensures this will not happen and ensures that the switch back to the daytime theme only occurs when the light level increases to an amount that is 20 units higher than the set night theme. This ensures that once the night theme has been activated it will take a significant amount of light to reactivate the daytime theme.
